The world champions follow specific routines to maintain a healthy physical and mental state. 6. Adequate Sleep

For pro athletes, adequate sleep is not just a luxury but a necessity. Athletes need to recharge and recover their muscles and energy every day. NBA superstar LeBron James is known for sleeping for around 10 hours.

Adequate sleep helps athletes in muscle recovery and reduces inflammation caused during intense workout sessions.

5. Balanced Diet

Diet plays an essential part in an athlete's life. The highly physical sport requires proper nutrition for adequate energy levels, building muscle, and repairing damaged tissues.
